^{I extend my hand to Mickimaus. Out of courtesy, she has taken off her glove. My hand turns black and the shiny colour spreads up my arm. –
My painting is first and foremost a form of communication with myself. I often draw inspiration from dreams and visions, but also from photographs. In abstract paintings, I explore themes such as relationships, spaces and the interrelationships between place/space and object/form. In figurative paintings, I address current social issues.}
